Brief Description

This Cowi FTG Garland JV Feasibility Study for Irish Railways investigated the condition of coastal defences and the stability of cuttings and embankments. Following inspection, prioritisation and geotechnical investigation, emergency works contracts for rock berms and slope stabilisation were expedited, and detailed design of longer-term works commenced. Over a four year period, a number of coastal defence, rock and slope stability works were carried out. PSDS Duties were also performed on behalf of Irish Railways.
